Growing up in the cutting horse world, when we purchased "T-Bone", I started to show him in what I knew. It was a battle, but he has since won a little bit of money in NCHA, making him a dual earner. 

In 2017, as a 3-year-old, "T-Bone" showed great promise in becoming a magnificent cow-horse prospect. He unfortunately sustained an injury which led to infection of his tendon sheath. Thus, ending his 3-year-old show year before getting started. With time off, he was showing some improvement, however it was a risk to take when we purchased him, if he would ever be able to show again. However, to just prove us wrong, he came back stronger than ever, and won 2 of the 3 shows he was entered in as a 4-year-old. 

The last several years, I have worked "T-Bone" in just the cutting. That's what I grew up doing, and he is such a talented horse, I knew he could do it. The first couple of years were tough, but we finally pulled a few checks, making him a dual earner in both; NCHA and NRCHA

"T-Bone" now gets to enjoy his life as a stud horse, breeding good quality mares to carry on his genetics. His colts are well rounded, friendly, and curious from day one! His first foal crop was in 2021 and are making some very nice horses!
